The history of WIX Filters consists of 70 years of continuous development of filtration solutions.
The company, which was established by Jack Wicks in North Carolina in the USA, soon started to develop dynamically. WIX also made its unique contribution to the development of the entire filtration industry when in 1954 their engineers developed and patented the spin-on oil filter, which shortly became a worldwide standard in the filtration of lubricants.
Today WIX is a global corporation, which manufactures products in 15 manufacturing plants located in 4 continents. Every year, over 4000 employees manufacture 200 million filters, which protect vehicles all over the world.
WIX brand filters are available in over 100 countries and the characteristic logo of the company soon became the synonym of quality in the aftermarket.
